We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Diagnostic telemetry logs are retained for up to 90 days. If you request deletion of your account or contact information, we will remove it within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
We use industry-standard practices to protect information we hold, including encrypted storage and transmission (TLS). However, no system is perfectly secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at the address in Section 11.
The App and Site are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under applicable data protection law. Our legal basis for processing is typically (a) performance of a contract when we provide the App to you, (b) legitimate interests in improving our products, or (c) your consent where we have asked for it. The App integrates with third-party smart-home platforms including Apple Home, Home Assistant, and SmartThings. Additional platforms are planned for future releases. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify you via email or a prominent notice in the App. Your continued use of the Site or App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
